Fourth of July Fun!

I know this post is a bit overdue, but I took so many pictures for the Fourth of July-it was hard to go through them all! lol

I had an AWESOME Independence Day! We went to my Grandad's cabin again, he lives on a lake community. My cousins came, and we swam in the lake for almost 3 hours! It was so much fun! Then we dried off and did pop-its, sparklers, and got on my Grandad's boat to watch the annual Fireworks at Lake Lorelei!

We did a few fountains too! (this one my family actually did in our yard, but it's prettier than the pictures of the ones we did at my Grandad's.)

After the firework appetizers (hehe), we went to go see the big fireworks! :D

I Heart Faces: Teens Only

This week for I Heart Faces is special! Only Teens can enter the Photo Challenge to end the celebration of Teens at IHF! Also, your entry only has to have a human face in it! Since I am a teen, at 16, I can enter! Yay! :)

Last week we went to the zoo with my cousins, and at our zoo they have a place where you can feed and hold Lorikeet birds! These birds are seriously crazy! When one landed on my sister's head-it made for a cute picture! :D

I Heart Faces: Pets

This week's of I Heart Faces, is Pets!! I LOVE Pets, in fact my family has 11 of them! Two parakeets, two guinea pigs, 1 hamster, 2 cats, and 4 chickens! We are pet crazy! lol

This is my cat Maggie, and it's one of the best pictures of her I have took since she is a black cat. I have shown it here on my blog before, but I couldn't pass up entering it! hehe :)

A Day at the Lake...

This past weekend we went to my Grandad's cabin at a lake community. In his backyard is Lake Lorelei, a lake where we like to go fishing and go out on his boat to enjoy the scenery. The perfect place for pictures! Good thing I had my camera! My cousins were there too, and we had a lot of fun! :)

Here is part of the Lake, it is really pretty with the sun shines on it! :)

This girl Water Skiing looked like she was having fun! I would love to try that sometime!

Here's my dad driving my Grandad's boat! :)

These Geese were in someone's yard! lol :)

My dad drove the boat to the Lake's "Clubhouse" and next to it is a small beach. The water is shallow there too, and roped off so you can swim! :)

My sister and cousin had fun drawing in the sand! hehe :)

After our trip to the small beach, we went back to the cabin and did some more fishing! One of my cousins caught a really nice Croppy!

My sister and cousin's also posed for some pictures. They were great models! :)

I Heart Faces: Celebrating Teens

I just Loved the I Heart Faces challenge last week, so here is my entry this week for the theme Celebrating Teens! My lovely sister modeled for me! :)

Fun at the Zoo!

Zoo trips are always so much fun! Here are my pictures of our local Zoo, when we went a few weekends ago! :)

I am not a huge fan of Apes or monkeys, but these turned out great! (I love my Zoom! :)

Feeding the Lorikeet Birds was funny! Those birds were crazy! The picture above is of me feeding one of the Lorikeets. My dad took it, and it's so cool that you can see the motion of the feather flapping. Though, guess where it was headed to?

Yep, right on my head! It was pretty funny! :D

Here's my mom with a Lorikeet! They loved her earrings! :)

There was small nature scenes at the Zoo, like this waterfall and flower too! Things people walk by, but are very beautiful!

Also, we went to a new attraction at the Zoo-A Cheetah Run! We saw the fastest mammal run, it was really neat!!

Then we went to one of the Bird Shows!

A few days after we went to the Zoo, we heard that this Falcon above accidentally flew away during one of the Bird Shows! Poor little guy. :(

This is a beautiful Bald Eagle that was in the show! His name is Sam, how cute is that? I can see why this is the National Bird of the U.S.A.

I am sorry for not posting in a while! To get back into the groove of posting, I am going to do my first ever I Heart Faces entry! :)
